Since BC is twice as long as PB, and QR=PC=36cm, Therefore, (a) PB= 36/3=12cm Angle PRC (y) = 90 degrees - 58 degrees = 32 degrees Angle ACD (x) = 45 degrees (Half of a right angle) Therefore the sum of angle x and y will be: (b) 32 degrees + 45 degrees = 77 degrees

(a) PB+BC=36 2PB=BC hence 3PB=36 or PB=12 (b) y=90-58=32 x=90-45=45 x+y=32+45=77 degrees

The fourth answer is the correct option. But, what is the physics behind this - we know ice have a temperature 0 degree and the spoon other end in surrounding ( air). The spoon other end have a higher temperature.we know from physics that energy always flow from higher temperature to lower temperature. Thus, the icy cold drink gains heat from the spoon.

Assuming bottom most layer of the object was not exposed to paint, else add accordingly, answer + 4*4*2*2 = 64cm^2 Surface area of top cube: 5*2*2 = 20cm^2 Surface area of second level of cubes: (12*2*2)-(2*2) = 44cm^2 Surface area of third level of cubes: (21*2*2)-(4*2*2) = 68cm^2 Surface area of last level of cubes: (32*2*2)-(9*2*2) = 92cm^2 Total area of solid which was painted blue = 20cm^2 + 44cm^2 + 68cm^2 + 92cm^2 = 224cm^2 In summary, (5+11+17+23)*4

(9x^2)/(〖(x-1)〗^2 (x+2)) = A/((x-1)) + 〖B/((x-1))〗^2+ C/((x+2)) = A(x-1)(x+2) + B(x+2) + C(x-1)2 take x=1 this gives B= 3 , when x = -2, C=4 when x=0, A=5 hence (9x^2)/(〖(x-1)〗^2 (x+2)) =5/((x-1)) + 3/〖(x-1)〗^2 + 4/((x+2)) ∫_2^3▒〖5/((x-1)) + 3/〖(x-1)〗^2 + 4/((x+2)) dx〗 =-3ln(2)+3/2 +4ln5
