Since BC is twice as long as PB, and QR=PC=36cm,

Therefore,
(a) PB= 36/3=12cm

Angle PRC (y) = 90 degrees - 58 degrees = 32 degrees
Angle ACD (x) = 45 degrees (Half of a right angle)

Therefore the sum of angle x and y will be:
(b) 32 degrees + 45 degrees = 77 degrees

(a) PB+BC=36 2PB=BC hence 3PB=36 or PB=12

(b) y=90-58=32
x=90-45=45
x+y=32+45=77 degrees
